Redcap Productions were on hand to film the wonderful Katie and the Carnival as they entertained a crowd of killer clowns and raconteurs at Joker Tattoo’s ‘Cirque Du Freak’ event. Click on the image above to catch them performing the track ‘Hide Your Face’.

The second Strait Laces track filmed live at Saints Boxing Club is now online for your viewing pleasure.  This is the second track from their new album which will be available soon.  We do hope you enjoy.

On a hot June night Redcap Productions headed up to Saints Boxing club to film a session with Strait Laces. The resultant video is a recording of their new track ‘Guiltshake’ which is set to feature on their forthcoming (and as yet untitled) debut album. A second track will follow shortly.

Redcap Productions Presents: Polar Beyond (Suns)

During the month of May we recorded the first official volume of what are now known as the ‘Redcap Productions Presents’ live sessions.

These sessions allow bands to perform their music in a live setting while retaining the aesthetics qualities of a music video.

Set to appear on the BBC show ‘Happening Here’ sometime during the summer we joined Polar Beyond to record ‘Suns’ from their debut EP.

Here are a few screen grabs from the Redcap Productions Presents: Strait Laces shoot from Friday night.  Videos should be up within a week or so and are definitely worth the wait!

We invited Strait Laces (one of the best live acts in the country no less) up to Saints Boxing Club to film a few tracks from their upcoming debut album.  The videos should be released in the next week or so and if the ringing in my ears is anything to go by they will definitely be worth the wait.

The Bonnevilles are one of the hottest bands from ‘around these parts’ so when we saw that they were to play at the opening of a tattoo parlour in Lisburn Redcap Productions jumped at the chance to film proceedings. So on a warm Saturday night in May we ventured to the beautiful Kapital Ink tattoo studio and drank Coronas while the band tore the place apart.

Redcap Productions Presents: The Bonnevilles

The Bonnevilles are up there in my top 5 of local acts from around these parts so when I saw they were playing the opening of a tattoo parlour in Lisburn I jumped at the chance to film them.  So on a warm Saturday night we ventured to the beautiful Kapital Ink studio and drank Coronas while the band tore the place apart.  Here are a few preview shots from the set – expect some videos in the next week or so!  Thanks to the fine fellows from Botanic Media for the photos.
