Redcap Productions were happily asked to shoot the official video for Pigstock 2011 and we jumped at the chance to film loads of brilliant acts. The video features ASIWYFA, Mojo Fury, Farriers, The Bonnevilles, Gacy’s Threads, Kasper Rosa and many more.  The video features the new LaFaro single “Easy Meat” which you can buy HERE.  Feel free to spread / embed – if you were there you might just spot yourself!

We were invited to Pigstock Festival by the legendary Jonny Tate to film the official promo video for the event – lets just say that if you weren’t there you missed out!  Here are some stills we took at the event when not shooting video.  All shots were taken on a Canon 600D with a Canon f1.8 prime 50mm lens (so no zoom!).  Every photo is raw / untreated but should give you a good impression of what went down.  For the rest of the photos please visit our Facebook Page.

On Thursday 12th May 2011 our good friends from The Q were invited to record a track straight to vinyl courtesy of Never Records / Ted Rieder.

The following video is a document of this collaboration.  The video was off the cuff so we had one take to get it right.  Please watch in high definition and check the band out.

Yesterday we filmed The Q as they cut a vinyl record LIVE in Derry with Ted Riederer / Never Records.  Also on board for the ride were Stephen McCauley and the Electric Mainline crew who were broadcasting live on the BBC.

The video should be out very soon – in the meantime here is a shot of Ted cutting the record.

The legendary Edwin McFee wrote some nice things about our work with A Plastic Rose and The Bonnevilles in this month’s Hot Press Magazine (Killing Bono cover) – here is a scan of what he said – buy the magazine – its a great read.

Jude from Window Seats created this awesome (and hilarious) teaser trailer for their ‘RAT’ video which should be out at the end of April.  Its a fun video so keep an eye out for it.

The video for The Bonnevilles track “Good Suits and Fightin’ Boots” is completed and will be launched soon – who will win this epic battle?  Our money is on The Bonnevilles.
